Team Bonding Activities – Team Pop Star

Enjoy a day of teamwork, healthy competition among friends, singing, performing, and learning about what it takes to become a top performing team.

Team bonding activities allow every one to not only have a great time and be energized but to also develop closer relationships with people they work with.

Allow your colleagues to fulfil their onstage pop star fantasies! As in the spirit of the hit show ‘Australian Idol’, no one misses a beat in what turns out to a hugely entertaining afternoon that concludes with a show where teams present their songs to standing ovations.

• Your group is broken down into small teams; each will choose a genre of music from our provided list (rap, pop, rock, country-western, disco etc.). 
• We provide costumes and props for each genre of music.
• Each group can choose from a list of over 800 existing songs in our professional band’s catalogue, or come up with their own tune, but all teams must make up their own lyrics to the song. Either through break-out sessions or as one team building segment the group dynamics and social bonding comes together nicely.
• The music is added, dance steps choreographed, and carefully practiced before the piece finally is video taped or shown live later that day or evening. Team Building Activities such as Team Pop Star can be oriented around a company theme, product message or company anthem!   

• When the group later gets together to watch the finished project they will have a second bonding experience, and a great time in laughter and fun, recalling the creative process and the close work relationship required to make the music video. 
• This is truly a good time, and a great night of celebration.

Another option is presenting the production live in the evening.

Stage time! Each team performs their song on stage and is judged by a panel of judges; teams are assessed by how well they incorporate the company’s vision and team building into their lyrics, as well as on creativity, choreography, and ‘flare’. Professional musicians help with rehearsal and back up the team as much as needed during their concert.
