The Great Photo Shoot

Your teams are armed with a series of Cryptic Clues and a digital camera and are tasked with taking a series of team photo's.

Once back at base, captions are digitally added onto your 'Snaps' from the day which are then shown back on the big screen over dinner later that evening or alternatively at the end of your event. A true team event for the technical age.

Digitize can be run at the venue of your choice and is the ideal activity to witness the hotspots of a vibrant city.

The Photo Shoot works like this:
Each team of 6 people has access to a map and digital camera. Each team sets off at intervals and must take photos and completing challenges along the way. They will have up to 1-3 hours to complete as many activities as they can to earn points for their team (depending on design). At the conclusion they meet at a local restaurant, where they enjoy lunch while we count the points and prepare the photos and movies for screening.

There are two categories in the taking of the photos.

1. The Map. You go out into the local area, take photos of places that are listed on the map. The photos may contain your group doing silly things such as a prize for the team with the highest number of members of the general public in their photo – actually smiling in the photo. We might also ask you to make a 20 second movie on your camera, doing something at one of the locations. Or you may encounter a Tebu staff member impersonating someone different, who requests that you complete a task at that spot.

2. Creative Interpretation. The second category is open to more creative energies. We give you topics in which you choose the photo that fits the topic. For example, we ask you to take a photo of a typical Port Douglas Resident – it could be a surfer for example. If the judges deem that you have successfully represented the topic then you are awarded with points.
