Communication Team Building - Tent in a Storm

A storm is approaching and your team must build their tent in the most expedient manner. Can they work together and communicate in difficult conditions?

Communication Team Building is an important element to every activity we run.  How teams share knowledge, how well they listen to each other, share ideas, and generate solutions is an important facet for building a team.

Tent in a Storm challenge requires  the team to fully assemble a tent following the instructions given and within an allocated time.  The catch is that all team members are blindfolded and must clear in the communication with each other.  Hand out the blind folds/bandanas to each member of the team and get them to put them on!

Key Points
The team will be confronted with many challenges during this exercise mainly from the dynamics of their team. However, we have included a few extra, including:

• Time is restricted
• Tent must be built in full
